Diploma in Human Resource Management is a 1-year certificate level course in the domain of human resource and its management.
The course can be pursued after completion of 10+2 level education in any stream from recognized central or state board. A select few institutes also offer the course to 10th pass candidates based on their performance in the class 10th board examination.

Diploma in Human Resource Management: Eligibility

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board with at least 50% (40% to 45% for reserved category candidates) of marks.
  • Candidate should not be having any backlog in any of the subjects at class 12th or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.
  • Apart from the above mentioned eligibility criteria, various colleges/institutes may have their own additional criteria which the students would have to satisfy in order to take admission.
  • In case of reserved category students, they would have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities in order to avail the benefits applicable to them.
The eligibility criteria mentioned above are common to most of the universities and colleges across the country that are offering this course to the students.

Diploma in Human Resource Management: Admission Process

DHRM course admissions are mostly based on a merit-based criterion for a selection with a select few institutes/colleges going for CET based admissions. 

Students who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% to 45% for reserved category students) can send application in colleges/institutes offering the course.
  • Some Institutes/Colleges conduct a common entrance test for admission to the course. Hence, students would have to make an application for such exams.
  • Students have to qualify these exams in order to get admission in the course.
  • After the conduct of the test, a merit list of finally qualified candidates is prepared and candidates are invited for admission process by the respective institute or college.
  • After final allotment of seats is done, the candidates are asked to deposit the fee for the course and register for the respective academic year.
